“Mary Pickford” is a song written and produced by Mike Batt for the Georgian-born, British singer Katie Melua. It is Melua’s tenth single and the second from her third album, Pictures. It was originally inspired by a daily facts calendar owned by Batt that one day featured the fact that Mary Pickford used to eat roses.

Beyoncé and Shakira – Beautiful Liar

“Beautiful Liar” (Spanish: Bello embustero) is a song recorded by American R&B singer Beyoncé and Colombian Latin pop singer Shakira. It was written by Knowles, Amanda Ghost, Ian Dench, and Stargate members Mikkel S. Eriksen and Tor Erik Hermansen, and produced by Stargate and Knowles for the re-release of Knowles’ second solo album, B’Day (2006). The mixing of the song was done by Gustavo Celis. “Beautiful Liar” was released on March 14, 2007, by Columbia Records as the first single from the deluxe edition of the album. A Spanish and English mixed version of the song was produced and titled “Bello Embustero”.

Leona Lewis – Bleeding Love

Co-written by Jesse McCartney and Ryan Tedder (and produced by Tedder), the song is the album’s lead single (Lewis’s official second single following “A Moment Like This”), released in the United Kingdom and Ireland in October 2007. Debuting at number one on the UK Singles Chart, “Bleeding Love” became the best-selling single of 2007 in the United Kingdom. Since the single’s release, it became a major international hit, and was the best-selling single of 2008 worldwide.

“You’re the World to Me” is the first single taken from David Gray’s Greatest Hits album. The single was produced by legendary producer Chris Thomas and released on 5 November 2007. In an interview, Gray described the song as “joyous,” and of his new Greatest Hits album: “a bag of happy shit.”
